Ring founder Jamie Siminoff: 'I still have my email on every box' — here's why

Ring founder Jamie Siminoff still puts his email address on the box of every smart home device product that the now-Amazon-owned (AMZN) company sells. Not having his email on the box isn't an option. "I still have my email on every box. And that's what one of my superpowers is — I get ground truth data on everything," Siminoff said on the Power Players with Brian Sozzi podcast (video above; listen in below). Siminoff is fresh off debuting Ring's first smart lock, which features a first-of-its-kind power dial that lets you recharge the lock by hand if the battery dies. It also eliminates the standard door key in four ways: a fingerprint reader, a keypad, the Ring app, or via Alexa.
