The Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported this on Telegram , according to Ukrinform. “According to the investigation, on October 17, Russian troops carried out airstrikes and also attacked settlements in the Kherson region with artillery and UAVs. As of 17:30, one person had been confirmed killed as a result of Russian shelling, while 40 others had sustained injuries,” the statement said. At around 4:00, Russian aircraft launched an airstrike on Kherson, injuring 35 civilians. Those injured included a one-month-old boy, an 11-year-old girl and two medical workers. Less than an hour later, another aerial bomb struck the same address, killing an ambulance driver. Two more residents were injured by an enemy drone in the regional capital.
