How DIU fighters counter Russian saboteurs at bottom of Kakhovka Reservoir

According to Ukrinform, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense reported this on Facebook and released a video showing counter-sabotage operations. “Fall 2026: The enemy continues to attempt to get as close as possible to Zaporizhzhia. Using small sabotage groups, the enemy is attempting to penetrate deep into the rear positions of the Defense Forces, build up forces to destabilize the situation, disrupt logistics, and neutralize the combat units of Ukrainian defenders,” the statement reads. A special operations unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, part of the “Timur Special Operations Unit,” is resolutely resisting enemy actions.
