Russian forces shell Kramatorsk: three civilians killed, two more injured

The Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported this on Telegram , according to Ukrinform. “At 10:04 on October 20, 2026, Russian armed forces shelled Kramatorsk. As a result of the attack, three men aged 42, 47 and 48 sustained injuries incompatible with life. A woman and a 38-year-old man were also injured,” the statement said. The victims were diagnosed with shrapnel wounds and blast injuries, the statement added. The type of weapon used is being established, the prosecutor’s office said. Under the procedural guidance of the Kramatorsk District Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into a war crime under Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
