Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva has challenged right-wing candidate Senator Flavio Bolsonaro to release his personal records in the run-up to the second round of the country’s presidential election , in which corruption has emerged as a key issue. Lula said on Tuesday that he would share his bank, tax and telephone records, along with those of his family, if Bolsonaro would agree to do the same. “I’m willing to let Brazilians see who the thieves and corrupt people in this country really are. I want to see whether he [Bolsonaro] has the courage to disclose his bank and phone records,” the left-wing president said during a campaign event in Maranhao state.
