Raleigh job fair sees record interest as state unemployment rate drops - WRAL

The City of Raleigh saw record interest Wednesday as more than 1,000 people registered for its first-ever Expo and Job Fair at the Atlantic Union Bank Convention Center, formerly the Raleigh Convention Center. Among those attending was Pamela Cannon, who said she's been searching for a job for six months. For her, the event offered a chance to connect directly with city departments and explore potential opportunities. The city expanded its annual fall job fair this year to include representatives from all city departments, following strong attendance at last year's event.
