The latest jobs report shows Montana's unemployment rate fell again in September. The state rate is now 3.1%, which is below the 4.2% national rate. Numbers show nearly 400 more Montanans were working, but the number of payroll jobs fell by about 1,300. Industries that saw the biggest losses include hospitality, finance and insurance. Despite that drop, Montana still has one of the lowest unemployment rates in the country.
