LAS VEGAS (AP) — LAS VEGAS (AP) — Boyd Gaming Corp. (BYD) on Thursday reported third-quarter net income of $124.9 million. The Las Vegas-based company said it had profit of $1.71 per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, were $1.67 per share. The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.65 per share. The casino operator posted revenue of $990.5 million in the period, which missed Street forecasts. Five analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $1 billion. Boyd shares have declined 15% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $72.10, a decrease of 13% in the last 12 months.
