Official labour market statistics in development covering Universal Credit customer employment and journeys, into-work rates and local labour market analysis have been updated, according to Get Britain Working : Labour Market Insights. The publication, dated 27 October 2026, states that data tables 2 to 8 of the accompanying data tables document were revised using a more suitable earnings variable, and that the title of table 12 was corrected. The update follows a correction statement issued on 5 January 2026, in which analysts identified an issue with the earnings variable used to derive the statistics in data tables 2 to 8 of the accompanying document during further work on section 3 of the October 2025 publication.
