The European Digital Media Observatory (EDMO) is an independent, multidisciplinary observatory that serves as the EU’s largest network to combat online disinformation. Operating through a central hub and 15 national and transnational hubs across Europe, including regional centers like F.A.C.T. for Ukraine and Moldova, EDMO brings together independent actors, researchers and practitioners, as well as media organizations, with its core mission being to detect and analyze disinformation campaigns, support independent fact-checking, promote media literacy, and assist public authorities in evaluating how online platforms mitigate risks to the information ecosystem.
