Anthropic has more cash than almost every company in America. The nearly six-year-old artificial intelligence lab disclosed on Monday in an S-1 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission that it had $112.4 billion in cash, plus another $19.3 billion in short-term investments, as of June 30. Anthropic's total of $131.7 billion surpasses every non-bank U.S. company, except for Berkshire Hathaway and Alphabet , according to data compiled by CNBC and S&P Capital IQ. As of midyear, Anthropic had more cash than Amazon , SpaceX , Meta , and Microsoft . It had more than Nvidia and Apple combined.
