Every PC to Be 'the Secure Agent Box' The company's CEO Satya Nadella said on Wednesday's first-quarter earnings call that Microsoft Execution Containers, or MXC, is "a policy-driven execution layer that governs and contains agents across Windows and other platforms." OpenAI, Anthropic and Muse are adopting it, he said, with Meta starting to deploy it across its enterprise environments. Every PC, in Microsoft's vision, should be "the secure agent box," the CEO added.
