Ukraine's parliament calls on world not to recognize Russia's State Duma 'elections'

According to an Ukrinform correspondent, 250 members of parliament voted in favor of the draft resolution, No. 16091 . "The purpose of the draft resolution is to clearly and unequivocally establish the position of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine that the elections of deputies to the ninth convocation of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, and the composition of the State Duma formed as a result, lack democratic and political legitimacy," the explanatory note to the draft resolution states.
