SEATTLE (AP) — SEATTLE (AP) — Amazon.com Inc. (AMZN) on Thursday reported third-quarter net income of $20.69 billion. On a per-share basis, the Seattle-based company said it had net income of $1.89. The results fell short of Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of 14 analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $2.01 per share. The online retailer posted revenue of $201.94 billion in the period, also falling short of Street forecasts. Eleven analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $202.11 billion. For the current quarter ending in December, Amazon said it expects revenue in the range of $240 billion to $247 billion.
