Head of the Sumy Regional State Administration Oleh Hryhorov reported this on Telegram , according to Ukrinform. “As a result of the Russian attack on the Sumy region, a 43-year-old woman was killed. My sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased. The Russians deliberately targeted a civilian enterprise in the Shostka community with attack drones, where people were working at the time. Eight people are currently known to have been injured. One person is in serious condition. Medical personnel are providing the injured with all necessary assistance,” he wrote. A rescue operation and efforts to deal with the aftermath of the attack are ongoing at the site. The extent of the damage is being assessed.
