The Bombardier Learjet 60 went down near Military Trail and 10th Avenue North in the Greenacres area at around 12:50 p.m., erupting into a fireball and sending thick black smoke into the air. According to the Federal Aviation Administration, the aircraft had departed Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in Texas and was heading to the Bahamas.
