AMD (AMD) will report its third quarter results after the bell on Tuesday, giving Wall Street a look at AI chip demand as the market continues to digest a stark sell-off in the AI trade and a disappointing outlook from rival Intel (INTC) last week. Intel reported better-than-anticipated Q3 earnings after the bell Thursday, but provided Q4 revenue estimates of between $15 billion and $16 billion, well below analysts' projections of $17 billion. The news sent Intel stock plummeting nearly 29%. The company blamed the outlook on a worse-than-anticipated decline in the PC market.
