NuScale Power Advances SMR Manufacturing With Doosan Deal

NuScale Power Corporation SMR is taking another important step toward the commercial deployment of its small modular reactor ("SMR") technology through an expanded manufacturing agreement with South Korea-based Doosan Enerbility. The latest contract covers the production of the Upper Reactor Coolant System, a critical component of the NuScale Power Module, at Doosan's reactor manufacturing facility in Changwon, South Korea. The agreement marks a significant transition in the companies' long-standing collaboration, moving beyond manufacturing preparation and material development toward the actual fabrication of reactor components.
