Uber (UBER) is scheduled to report third quarter results on Wednesday. Investors expect the ride-hailing giant to post bookings above the midpoint of its guidance and keep adding users at a double-digit clip. Uber is expected to post gross bookings of $59.8 billion per Bloomberg consensus, up 20% year over year. That's above the $59.25 billion midpoint of Uber'sguidance range of $58.25 billion to $60.25 billion. Gross bookings measure the total dollar value of rides and orders, such as Uber Eats deliveries, on the platform. Investors will also watch monthly active platform consumers (MAPCs), the number of unique users who take a ride or place an order each month. Analysts see 215 million MAPCs, up 14% from189 million a year ago.
