"Due to the large-scale and systematic Russian attacks on energy infrastructure, nuclear power plants have been forced to reduce generation output. A return to nominal capacity will take place gradually as energy workers restore networks damaged by the shelling," the ministry said. The power supply situation remains most challenging in Kyiv and the Kyiv region, where network restrictions are in place following severe damage to equipment. Scheduled hourly power outages are being imposed in most regions of Ukraine on Wednesday, while emergency outages are in effect in Kyiv, the Kyiv region and the Kharkiv region.
