There are a great many strikes every day against our energy sector, and the situation with ballistic missiles is particularly challenging due to a chronic shortage of interceptors for the Patriot system. It is important to find new solutions to help protect lives,” he wrote. Zelensky noted that a contract is already in place to purchase German-made PAC-2 missiles for the next two years, and the parties are working to expedite deliveries.
