That is according to the Ukrainian Defense Ministry , Ukrinform reports. The relevant decision, initiated by the ministry, was approved at a government meeting. The changes are intended to strengthen Ukraine's air defense capabilities as Russia steps up its aerial attacks on critical infrastructure. The Ukrainian Defense Ministry stressed that, as before, private air defense operates under the control of military command and as part of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' unified air defense system. The private air defense project is being implemented under Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 1506 of November 19, 2025.
