French far left enshrines leaving NATO in official presidential platform

PARIS — Far-left presidential hopeful Jean-Luc Mélenchon’s party set out leaving NATO and nationalizing defense companies in its official platform released Friday. “Immediately withdraw from NATO’s integrated command and then, in stages, from the organization itself.
