First Deputy Head of the Office of the President Serhii Kyslytsia said this in an interview with TSN , according to Ukrinform. "The Russian Federation, and Putin in particular, have never wanted to see a successful United States. Despite all his awkward talk about relations and almost friendship with Trump, Putin has never wanted to see a strong Trump. For Russia, and Putin in particular, the weaker America and its institutions are, the easier it is for them to fish in troubled waters, if you know what I mean," Kyslytsia said. Kyslytsia emphasized that Ukraine and the United States have fundamentally different perspectives on their bilateral relationship.
